About Me

Ideas are not static.
They evolve, take shape, and become visible. Design allows intention to become real. What begins as thought or intuition can be translated into form, into objects, images, and visual systems that exist in the world. Design is capable of carrying meaning across cultures and disciplines.

Through Cosmic Ray Lines, I explore how concepts become structures and how vision can be materialized through design.

My name is Romael Yekpe, and I work under the pseudonym Ra Yden. The name represents the creative identity through which I develop my designer work and artistic explorations.

I am a graphic designer and multidisciplinary artist currently based in Canada. My practice moves between graphic design, visual storytelling, and conceptual experimentation. I am particularly interested in systems, symbols, and the ways ideas travel between mediums.

Originally from Benin, my perspective is shaped by multiple languages, cultures, and artistic traditions. This multiplicity informs how I approach design: as both a tool for communication and a framework for exploration.

Each project presented here is part of that exploration, an attempt to give structure to ideas and to translate perception into form.
